A new all-inclusive play space is set to be built in Glenfield and Campbelltown Council wants the community to share their feedback.
Council will host community consultation sessions at Glenfield Park this week to gather people’s views on how to further improve the park and give their ideas for other recreation spaces in the area.
The play space at Bougainville Road will feature a double flying fox, giant swing, water play and sculpture play areas and sandstone climbing areas.
Designs for the play space based on feedback gathered from consultation last year with local schools will also be available at the information sessions.
Campbelltown Mayor George Brticevic encouraged residents to share their views.
“Residents have a unique insight into the area and I encourage everyone in the community to ask questions and share their ideas about the current parks and recreation facilities in the Glenfield Precinct and their wish list for the future,’’ Cr Brticevic said.
“The workshops are a great opportunity for us to check in with our community and help Glenfield become an even better place for people to live, work, enjoy their free time and spend time with their families and friends.”
