CCTV catches thief ripping TV screen from hinges in Ingleburn robbery

CAMPBELLTOWN City police are appealing for information to identify a robber who broke into an Ingleburn real estate agency, stole a TV screen after ripping it from its hinges and fled with it under his arm.
The brazen thief has been captured on CCTV crawling into the real estate agency after breaking in after 3am on June 14.
Wearing a baseball cap, the thief then walks over to one of two TV screen hanging near a window and then violently rips and pulls one of the screens from its hinges.
The thief then puts the TV screen under his arm and then crawls out of the real estate agency.
Campbelltown City police crime manager Detective Inspector Greg Inger said the man broke into the business after smashing a glass door.
Nothing else was taken in the real estate agency and the robbery took less than 21 seconds.
Det Insp Inger urged anyone who can help to identify the robber to contact police.
“If you know the person, ring us and help us to find the person responsible before something like this happens again,’’ he said.
