A hairdresser who was viciously attacked in a chaotic road rage incident in Sydney’s southwest has detailed the horrific ordeal which left her with seven facial fractures.

Tori-Lee Hellsten, 31, was stopped at the intersection of Blaxland and Campbelltown roads between 5.45pm and 5.55pm on Saturday before she honked at a black Mitsubishi Lancer in front of her who refused to move at a green light.

Ms Hellsten said on TikTok she was on the way home from Macarthur Square shopping centre when the man started driving “up my ass and he was very close trying to cause an accident”.

“He’s trying to run me off the road so I slammed on my brakes and he ended up in front of me … so my bonnet tapped the back of his car,” she said.

The 31-year-old said she felt scared as she wound down her window while the man bent down to look into her car and started yelling.

“As I turned around I felt a blunt force hit my face, my glasses flew off into the back and I felt instantly that there was something wrong with my nose and I just started bleeding profusely out of my nose,” she said.

“I stopped and looked around because I wasn’t sure if a piece of metal or something had flown off someone's car and hit me in the face.”

Ms Hellsten said she “blacked out for a second” and found the man smiling down at her.

“He was very proud of himself and nodding and trying to convince me to get out of the car because obviously he wanted to keep going,” she said.

Ms Hellsten drove to Campbelltown Hospital where she underwent CT scans and prescribed endone for multiple facial fractures.

“I’ve been discharged and I’m just at home and trying to rest and not look at myself because it makes me very upset,” she said.
