Campbelltown police will be shaving their heads tomorrow to raise money and support the World’s Greatest Shave.
Senior Constable Nicole Winley and colleagues Andrew Thompson and David Blom will be among the local police officers braving the clippers on the day.
The cops will have their locks chopped at 10am in the Centre Court in Macarthur Square.
Senior Constable Winley said she was nervous to lose her long hair but was excited to see what she would look like bald.
“I originally brought it up with the guys that I was interested in doing it and was given a week to make up my mind... Sen Constable Blom called me chicken so now I’m doing it,” she said.
“This is the first time I’ll have short hair it’s always been long... I’m definitely going to need a police-issued beanie.”
Sen Constable Blom invited the community to come down and see the cops brave the clippers tomorrow morning.
