Campbelltown’s King Kebab House will make an official tilt at the Guiness World Record for biggest ever serving of ‘meat and chips’, with the business confident their succulent and saucy meal will take the global crown.
“It’s going to be massive,” a spokesman said. “The street will be closed off and we will have an incredible amount of chips, beef, chicken, cheese and sauce drizzled on top.”

Neighbouring eateries on Campbelltown’s iconic Queen St are lending their kitchens to help create the halal snack pack behemoth, expected to take 45 minutes to build.
The community can watch the mouth-watering creation take shape at 2pm on November 9 as part of the city’s Festival of Fisher’s Ghost event, with donations boxes to collect money for Campbelltown Hospital.
Campbelltown Mayor George Brticevic said he couldn’t wait to see the challenge put the city on the map.
