Camden police are urging Spring Farm residents to lock their vehicles and to remove valuables after a number of vehicles were targeted in the vicinity of Bandara Circuit and Minorca St overnight.

CAMDEN police are urging Spring Farm residents to lock their vehicles and remove valuables after a number of vehicles were targeted in the vicinity of Bandara Circuit and Minorca St overnight.

Thieves struck between 10pm last night and 7am this morning.

“During this time a number of vehicles have been accessed and a number of items have been stolen,’’ Camden police duty officer chief inspector Michael Pearsall said.

Camden police are investigating the crimes and urging residents to secure their vehicles and

ensure that valuables are not left inside vehicles.

The warning comes weeks after Camden police issued a similar warning to Oran Park residents after thieves targeted vehicles in and around Bartlett, Morris, Lowe and Atlee streets.

Other residents who find their vehicles has been entered or interfered with are also encouraged to contact the Police Assistance Line on 131444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

Witnesses are also urged to contact Camden police on 4632 4499.
