Anthony Allan and Essa Hassan front court over alleged graffiti incident at Leppington Train Station

Two men have fronted court after being charged with trespassing at a southwest Sydney train station. Find out the offensive message they allegedly sprayed on the train.

Two men have fronted court after police allegedly caught them red-handed after spraying an offensive message on a train carriage.

Police allege that about 8.35pm on June 23, officers attended Leppington Train Station following reports of two men applying spray paint to train carriages.

According to court documents, the men allegedly sprayed a train with the tag ACAB meaning “all cops are bast---s”.

Officers attached to Police Transport and Public Safety Command attended the location and observed two men allegedly spray painting carriages in a holding yard.

Anthony Allan, 35, and Essa Hassan, aged 29, were arrested by police as they exited the train station and taken to Narellan Police Station.

Police allege that upon searching the men, officers located and seized spray cans, balaclavas, cameras, phones, SD cards, sketches, and clothing.

According to court documents, the estimated value of the damage to the train is $2500.

Both men were charged with blackening or disguising their face to commit an indictable offence, armed with intent to commit serious indictable offence, malicious damage in company, entering running lines, trespassing and entering the station at a point not designated.

Mr Hassan was also charged over an alleged graffiti related offence committed at Campbelltown Train Station on June 21.

Mr Allan, whose listed address is in Ulladulla, fronted Picton Local Court on Wednesday and asked for an adjournment to get some legal advice. Mr Hassan, a resident from Elderslie, also appeared at the same court asking for the matter to be held over.

Both men will return to Picton Local Court on July 27.
