A new adventure playground is set to open in Liverpool on Saturday.
Liverpool’s first and only adventure playground of its kind is set to open on Saturday.
Casula Parklands features a ninja training circuit for adults and teenagers, an eight-metre-high ‘Sky Walk’ and tunnel slide, swings, flying foxes, a playground for toddlers and two off-leash parks for big and small dogs.
The $4 million playground on Powerhouse Rd in Casula will welcome its first users on Saturday and there will be a gala day with live music, free light refreshments and fun activities for children from 10am to 2pm.
Liverpool Mayor Wendy Waller said it was a place to bring the family.
“Southwest Sydney has never seen anything like this,” Cr Waller said. “We know everyone is going to love Casula Parklands.
The state-of-the-art playground is part of Liverpool Council’s efforts to revitalise the Georges River.
