A motorcyclist has been rushed to hospital in a critical condition following a multi-vehicle crash on the M5 Motorway in Sydney this morning.
Emergency services were called to the scene at Moorebank - just past the Hume Highway - shortly after 6 o’clock.
The rider, believed to be aged in his 30s, has been taken to Liverpool Hospital.
Only one city-bound lane of the M5 remained open as responders worked to clear the scene.
UPDATE: All citybound lanes have reopened on the M5 now that this crash has been cleared. Continue to expect delays as traffic remains very heavy on the M5 and the Hume Mwy.

Live Traffic NSW is now reporting that all city-bound lanes have reopened, but “continue to expect delays as traffic remains heavy on the M5 and Hume Motorway”.
