From robotic cars to motorbikes, Liverpool Boys High School students showcased the fruits of their labour at a biannual exhibition last week.

Community members, schools and local businesses were invited to take a look at the projects developed by students over two terms as part of the school’s project-based learning approach.

Students from Year 7 to 10 proudly exhibited their works, which included solar-powered houses complete with lights and water tanks, and robotics.

Community partnership manager Jessica Khoury said the school was focused on providing students with “real-world opportunities” through its project-based learning strategy.

“If we can incorporate projects that interests students, we’ll get better engagement from students,” she said.

There will be a second exhibition at the end of the year.
