A nine-year-old boy is in a stable condition after he was struck by a car outside Miller Public School this morning.
Emergency services were called to the school on Shropshire St about 8.50am after the boy was hit by a Toyota HiAce that was travelling at low speed.
A NSW Ambulance spokesman confirmed paramedics treated the boy for bruising to the head and abrasions to the side.
He was taken to the Children’s Hospital at Westmead, where he is in a stable condition.
The driver, a 70-year-old man, was breath-tested at the scene and returned a negative result.
Officers from Green Valley Local Area Command are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
