A man has died after being struck by a car while on a walk with a relative in Sydney’s southwest.

A man has died after being hit by a car in Edmondson Park, in Sydney’s southwest, earlier this morning.
Emergency services were called to Croatia Ave just before 5.30am after reports a pedestrian had been struck by a car.
Police were told the man, aged in his 30s, was walking with a relative when he was hit by the car.
Paramedics treated him at the scene, but he could not be revived.
The driver, a man aged in his mid-30s, was taken to hospital for mandatory testing. He was uninjured.
The Metropolitan Crash Investigation Unit will investigate the circumstances surrounding the death and a report will be prepared for the Coroner.
