Dry July’s Mark Udovitch spends months impersonating celebrities

Celebrity impersonator and Liverpool Hospital radiation therapist Mark Udovitch is sporting a much shorter haircut. He’s taken off the likes of Kim Kardashian, Janet Jackson and Snoop Dogg. Wait until you see what he’s got planned next.

Celebrity impersonator and Liverpool Hospital radiation therapist Mark Udovitch is sporting a much shorter haircut.

After months of planning and taking off celebrities in photos on social media, he continues his plight.

The $35,000 tally for Dry July continues to rise, and he plans to keep impersonating with his bald noggin’.

Think Bruce Willis, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Sinead O’Connor, Britney Spears, Vin Diesel and Andre Agassi.

He’s channelling their hairless days to keep donations streaming in, with the cut-off at the end of August.

As soon as his long locks were chopped on Friday, Mr Udovitch exclaimed, “I’m so cold”, and put on a beanie.

“I’ve been blown away at the local and international exposure,” Mr Udovitch said.

All money raised by Mr Udovitch will benefit the Liverpool Cancer Therapy Centre.

It has taken hours of planning to get the outfits and hair just right, but Mark Udovitch is happy with his “rip-off” celebrity images.

The Liverpool Hospital radiation therapist has been scheming with his girlfriend Lisa McLean.

Despite being done in jest, the reason behind it has a more serious tone.

“I had a patient who had breast cancer. She lost her hair after chemotherapy,” he said.

“She was distressed about the loss of hair ... more than surgery.

“It was harder for her than the mastectomy. It was such a profound thing to say.”
