During the search of an aspiring actor’s unassuming inner west home officers found multiple police uniforms, two bulletproof vests, a pistol and $24,300 worth of drugs.

Tiara Marleen Cool, 35, a hopeful actor, model and dancer, who was a sex worker when the offences occurred, was due to begin a trial in the District Court on Tuesday but changed her plea to guilty at the last moment.

She now faces up to 15 years in prison if convicted for supplying 97 grams of methamphetamine, and 14 years for charges of possessing a pistol and a body armour vest without a permit.

Police had tapped Cool’s phone in June 2018, and heard her discussing potential drug deals and access to methamphetamine, ecstasy, Xanax, cannabis and gamma-butyrolactone.

As police combed through the Wentworth Point unit on July 11, 2018, of which Ms Cool was the sole occupant and leaseholder, they found meth in a ‘Coles’ bag in the living room, Tupperware containers in the TV cabinet and a box above one of the beds, according to police documents.

They also found drug paraphernalia and ten mobile phones strewn around the house, as well as a 6mm Airsoft caliber Chinese pistol under the lounge which she told police “doesn’t belong to me”.

When asked about the drugs, she said they were “not drugs” but something she “bought from a supermarket” and “maybe used in cooking”.

Police also found a small wheeled suitcase in a bedroom wardrobe which included a bulletproof body vest, according to the police facts.

The term “body armour vest” refers to the fact it can protect against electroshock as well as bullets.

The item is classed as a prohibited weapon.

In the same suitcase, police found nine short sleeved NSW Police Force shirts with logos, two NSW blue police cargo pants, one pair of dark blue overalls with “POLICE” on the back and one pair of white overalls with the Australian Federal Police patch, and two NSW Corrective Services shirts.

They also found two red and blue police strobe lights.

When police asked who owned the suitcase, Ms Cool said “I don’t know”.

According to the police facts, the vest returned DNA matches for a person named Julul Vural, known to police, and an associate of the offender.

In that bedroom, police also found other official police clothing and two more strobe lights, and in the lounge room, they found a second body armour vest.

Ms Cool is not a current or past member of the NSW Police Force, Australian Federal Police or Corrective Services.

She was not arrested on the day of the search but arrested at a North Rocks home in the early hours of January 16, 2019.

Ms Cool is set to be sentenced in the District Court on November 20.
