As they work to defend their title in a COVID-19 delayed and affaceted Super Netball season we take a look at the players who have starred for the NSW Swifts since the start of the competition.
The Swifts are the defending Super Netball champions but at the start of their time in the top domestic league back in 2017 they were a developing side.
All that has changed in recent times with the Swifts last season becoming the first NSW team to win the Super Netball crown.
We take a look at the players who have made the biggest impact for the Swifts over the Super Netball years as the club heads into 2020 and come up with our top five.

No. 5: ABBEY MCCULLOCH: The now retired, former captain of the Swifts.
An inspirational leader, McCulloch led by example and marshalled the midcourt with aplomb during her time with the Swifts which came to an end through injury at the end of 2018.
Passionate and dedicated, these two traits made her a player who helped shape the club into what it is today.
No. 4: SARAH KLAU: One half of the Swifts twin towers and great mates with her fellow Australian defender Maddy Turner.
Klaus has grown in stature at the Swifts to graduate to the Australian Diamonds in 2019.
Cool and composed under pressure, her quiet strength and zeal in defence is a key to the success of the Swifts over the years and also key to their success in the future.
No. 3: SAM WALLACE: It was hard to split the Swifts highly regarded international shooting duo of Wallace and Helen Housby.
Wallace’s passion, flamboyance and accuracy helped her side win games and won over a new legion of fans to the game.
Deadly accurate, Wallace regularly features near the top of the best shooters list in the competition.
No. 2 PAIGE HADLEY: She stayed loyal to the Swifts when a number of her old teammates left the fold to join the Giants for the first season of Super Netball back in 2017.
Hadley, the only Australian player in the team back in the first year of the comp, has shown enormous growth since and was rewarded when named in the Australian team to contest the World Cup in 2019.
She is now known for her grit and tenacity and on-court leadership and was a vital player for the Swifts en-route to their grand final win last year.
No. 1: MADDY TURNER: She was a rising star of the sport when she moved from Adelaide to Sydney to pull on the red dress for the Swifts in the ANZ Championship, a year before the first Super Netball competition in 2017.
Since then this master apprentice to Australian defender Sharni Layton has blossomed to be one of the most impactful players on the court in Super Netball.
Steady and tenacious, her efforts have been rewarded with a call up to the Australian Diamonds and a position in the team which completed at last years World Cup.
