Police are looking for two men they believe were involved in a shocking road rage assault which saw a young father allegedly attacked in front of his young son last week.
Chinese national Jun Xie, 42, was charged after allegedly attacking a motorist while the man’s eight-year-old son watched on in the back seat in Homebush West last Friday.
Footage of the incident shows Xie riding on the bonnet of the Honda before the car stops on The Crescent.
Police allege Xie was a passenger in a Subaru Forester which was about to go into a parking spot when the Honda drove around them about 2pm.
From there, it’s alleged, Xie threw punches at the man while a number of bystanders also attacked the victim and damaged his car.
Xie was granted bail in the Parramatta Bail Court at the weekend after being charged with common assault and affray, however, detectives are still trying to locate two other men who could assist in the investigation of the incident.
Xie’s lawyer told the court the unemployed stepfather denies the allegations.
Auburn Command investigators have released images of the two men they wish to speak to.
One is described as an Asian man wearing a black hat and grey shirt while the other is also described as an Asian man wearing a red shirt and dark pants.
