Love Island star Eden Dally takes on Mr World challenge

Dally is competing to be the first Australian to take the title of Mr World, the male spin-off of Miss World, in Manila in August.
Dally, 26, came runner up with then-girlfriend Erin Barnett on Channel 9’s reality show Love Island Australia last year but his love focus now is firmly fixed on fellow reality TV star, Cyrell Paule from Married At First Sight (MAFS).
He met Cyrell, 30, through MAFS couple Cam Merchant and Jules Robinson.
“Cyrell saw me and couldn't keep her hands off me,” he joked.
On Cyrell, who won legions of fans for her outspoken antics on MAFS, Dally said: “She has got more ball than some blokes. She can speak her mind very well” and “she is a really lovely person”.
For Dally “giving back” through various charity pursuits is important.
“It is good to give back, to help these charities get their message out there,” he said.
The part-time prison officer from Drummoyne, in Sydney’s inner west, is raising funds for Hands Across the Water, that aids disadvantaged children and communities in Thailand, and stem cell research as part of his Mr World journey.
He pointed to Kurt Drysdale, who was left a quadriplegic after a wayward tackle during a weekend rugby league match in 2015, as just one of the stories that has touched him.
Dally, who grew up around the Upper North Shore suburb of Thornleigh as the youngest of the four Dally children, has help to get into shape for the Mr World contest with brother Trent a personal trainer.
He said Mr World was a challenge because “I haven’t done modelling before”. He said there were a “lot looking blokes” at the Australian final, including Harrison Craig won the second series of The Voice Australia.
Mr World 2016, Rohit Khandelwal from India will crown the winner of the 10th edition of the Mr World pageant on August 23.
