A Sydney man accused of meeting two women on a dating app before allegedly having sex with them without their consent has been hit with further charges after a third woman came forward.
Joshua Paul Rini, 29, was refused bail in Waverley Local Court on Thursday after being arrested and charged over a third alleged sexual assault dating back to November 2017.
Details of his alleged behaviour were also revealed in court including his telling one alleged victim “just take them off already” prior to his sexually assaulting her.
Police will allege, as part of his latest charge, that Rini met the now 25-year-old woman on Tinder before she was allegedly sexually assaulted at a Woollahra home in November 2017.
The 25-year-old woman came forward after reports emerged that Rini, formerly from Glebe, was charged earlier this year over two other alleged rapes stemming from the same dating app in May and December 2019.
The carpenter was granted bail earlier this year after being charged with two counts of sexual intercourse without consent.
However, that bail was revoked on Thursday after he breached his bail conditions.
As part of his bail conditions, imposed in August, he was ordered to reside at a home in Bondi Junction.
The court heard when police turned up to that address on Wednesday to charge him with aggravated sexual assault, relating to the 2017 incident, they realised he had moved home.
Police called him but he continually refused to tell police where he was residing other than stating he was living with his cousin, the court heard.
He attended Waverley Police Station later that evening where he was arrested and charged with aggravated sexual assault and breach of bail.
Magistrate Ross Hudson revoked his bail on Thursday and adjourned his matters until next week.
“It appears that the accused’s attitude towards bail is a total disregard for it,” Magistrate Hudson said.
He dismissed claims that Rini had appropriately tried to update his address with police and the court.
Rini, who appeared on audio visual link, had his arms crossed throughout his short appearance in court before having his bail revoked.
He did not apply for bail on his latest set of charges and will remain in custody.
His matters will be mentioned again at Central Local Court on Tuesday, October 27.
