You’ve heard of people hiding drugs in their socks, perhaps in the soles of their shoes, maybe even tucked away in a bra, but one aspiring model and OnlyFans content creator snuck more than 5g of cocaine into a Sydney music festival stashed away up her vagina.
Aspiring model Grace Athanatos, 24, from Port Melbourne, who also has an active OnlyFans presence, was busted by cops attempting to sneak in 5.6g of cocaine into Marlo Music Festival at Sydney Olympic Park before drug-detection dogs caught wind of the package. Athanatos goes by the name Grace Evelyn on social media.
The cocaine was stuck inside a knotted condom hidden up Athanatos’ vagina.
Athanatos, who pleaded guilty to supplying the drug (of less than a commercial quantity), escaped both a conviction and a fine at Burwood Local Court on July 25.
She was represented by high-profile criminal lawyer Ahmed Dib and instead received a 12-month conditional release order (CRO) without conviction or fine. Athanatos would later thank her solicitors on Instagram for the result.
On Instagram, she said: “HUGE shout-out to my saviour Ahmed Dib for helping me, honestly such an amazing result – highly recommended if you’re ever naughty like me”.
Court documents revealed the full extent of the model’s attempt to sneak in the cocaine into the popular music festival.
About 9pm on May 14, while she waited to enter the festival gate checkpoint at Sydney Olympic Park, drug-detection dogs started to bark at the area around Athanatos. She began to cry and appear “visibly upset” when police officers asked to search her, court documents showed.
She immediately confessed while in tears and said to the police she had drugs on her “internally”.
When questioned, Athanatos said “it was for my friends and me to share” and she had only taken “one bump of cocaine”.
A strip search would reveal the hidden goods: 5.6 grams of cocaine, tied up in a knotted condom, hidden away “internally”.
Athanatos’ 12-month conditional release order begun on July 25.
