A popular Sydney restaurant chain is fighting for its financial life after entering voluntary administration.
Elements Dining Group, which manages five restaurants in Sydney’s inner west and city called Elements Bar and Grill, has entered voluntary administration in an attempt to claw back debt under a formal restructuring plan.
The popular chain has been rated as some of the top restaurants in the state, with some menu items fetching nearly $300 each.
John Mclnerney, an administrator and financial advisory partner at Grant Thornton, said the company looks to continue operating as normal throughout this process.
“The restaurants and shared head office will continue to trade during the voluntary administration period,” he said. - Elliott Stewart
