A young cafe owner from Sydney’s inner west acted as a courier service for a sophisticated dial-a-dealer operation, where she would drop off coke to her customers, but this time of the cocaine variety.

When police apprehended her at her Dulwich Hill home, she told her alleged drug boss: “they’ve found everything, I’m so sorry”.

Dilara Sen, 25, worked as a driver for what police described as a “cocaine-delivery syndicate” across the city. With a menu of cocaine, Valium and Xanax, Sen would be assigned orders and drop them off to customers.

Police allege Ahmad El Rmiehy and Ahmed Al Musawi were the “controllers” behind the dial-a-dealer service. Both their matters remain before the courts.

Between July 30 and August 20 of last year, Sen delivered a whopping 78 bags of cocaine (sold as 0.5 grams each) and 72 Xanax tablets for $3350.

Dilara Sen, 25, has been charged with supplying cocaine across Sydney in 2021.

As a delivery driver, a 0.5g bag of cocaine would sell for between $250 and $300. She would be paid $30 to $50 for each drop.

Sen appeared at Downing Centre Local Court on October 6 where she entered guilty pleas to dealing with the property proceeds of crime, supplying drugs of more than a commercial quantity, and supplying drugs more than a small quantity but less than an indictable amount.

Court previously heard how Sen sought a bail variation to use her phone so as to run the social media accounts of a cafe she owned.

She was represented by high-profile criminal lawyer Ahmed Dib.

Agreed police facts reveal the extent of Sen’s deliveries, as well as the alleged operation underpinning them.

The police facts allege Sen was recruited into the operation by Al Musawi: “I’ve found a driver”, he allegedly told El Rmiehy.

Police facts showed Sen delivered to spots across the inner city, as far north as North Sydney and all the way down to San Souci and Miranda.

Sen was apprehended as part of Strike Force Spex, run by officers from the South Sydney Police Area Command, to investigate cocaine deliveries across the city.

On August 19, police officers approached Sen when she arrived at her Dulwich Hill home. There they found 23g of cannabis, $1650 in $50 notes in a shoebox, 32 tablets of Alprazolam, $1700 in $50 notes in a Louis Vuitton bag and 26 Valium tablets.

Sen would later allegedly tell Al Musawi: “they’ve found the money, the Xanax, they’ve found everything – I’m so sorry”, the agreed facts stated.

She attended Newtown police station on August 26 and was arrested. Sen will be sentenced in the Local Court at a later date.
