Coronavirus: Sydney Local Health District confirmed cases
New data has revealed 65 confirmed cases of coronavirus in the local health district taking in Sydney’s inner west and parts of Canterbury Bankstown.

Sixty five confirmed cases of coronavirus have been recorded in the local health district taking in Sydney’s inner west and parts of Canterbury Bankstown.
NSW Health statistics reveal 6627 have been tested in the Sydney Local Health District which takes in Royal Price Alfred Hospital in Camperdown, Canterbury Hospital, Balmain Hospital and Concord Hospital.
The latest stats reveal the 65 confirmed cases came from 6627 tests resulting in a positive test percentage of 0.98 per cent.
The positive percentage equates to 9.33 cases per 100,000 residents and 951 tests per 100,000 residents.
The number of positive results is relatively low compared to other areas of Sydney.
South Eastern Sydney, which includes the eastern suburbs and down to the Sutherland Shire, has 292 cases with 30.45 cases per 100,000 residents.
Northern Sydney which includes the north shore and northern beaches has 209 cases with 21.86 per 100,000 while the Hunter New England district, which includes Newcastle, has 100 cases at 10.50.
The Central Coast has 34 cases at 9.64 cases per 100,000, South Western Sydney has 71 at 6.84 while Western Sydney has 82 at 7.78.
The only health district in NSW without any cases is the Far West district which takes in Broken Hill and surrounds.
