Brady Gunn: A Stand In The Park leader claims Instagram censorship

An anti-vaccine “freedom” leader who is prohibited by a court from using his online channels claims law enforcement is censoring him as he bemoans his social media ban.

An avid anti-vaxxer who has been banned from using his group’s prominent social channels by a court is diverting his followers to another platform over what he called “censorship”.

Brady Gunn, 45, is prohibited from accessing the accounts of “A Stand In The Park” as part of his bail conditions after being arrested earlier this month allegedly attempting to participate in a protest in Sydney.

The group was a driving force behind the violent Sydney freedom protest last month.

The group has thousands of followers across the world who it promotes conspiracy theories about Covid vaccines to.

Gunn, who lives in Port Macquarie, directed followers to an account called “free Brady Gunn” in which he describes not being able to use the group’s influential platform over “law enforcement and censorship”.

A Stand In The Park’s Instagram content remains unrestricted on the social media platform.

“We all miss Brady’s ‘lives’, but if he breaks his bail conditions it could mean a year in jail,” the group posted in promoting Gunn’s new channels.

Gunn was charged with breaching the health order, not wearing a mask on public transport and not complying with a police direction earlier this month.

Police allege Gunn travelled out of his local government area by train to Oatley a week after the first Sydney “freedom” protest.

It comes as the group, who were seen with tin foil wrapping their phones at a Newtown rally recently, announced another bizarre protest of the NSW lockdown.

They posted this week that it was time for NSW to “make some noise” at 7pm for the three minutes every night.

“Get in your backyard and make some noise, bang your pots and pans, honk your car horn, blow a whistle!” the group said.

Gunn is the founder of the group which has more than 16,000 followers on Facebook and thousands across several Instagram accounts.

Its private Facebook group has more than 40,000 followers.
