Wollongong: Man seriously injured in alleged hit-and-run at intersection of Daisy St and Princes Hwy, Fairy Meadow
Police have released CCTV footage of a ute as they investigate an alleged hit-and-run that left a pedestrian with serious facial and chest injuries in Wollongong.

A man has been hospitalised with serious injuries after he was hit by a car in an alleged Wollongong hit-and run.
Emergency services were called to the intersection of Daisy St and the Princes Hwy, in Fairy Meadow, following reports a pedestrian had been struck by a car about 8.55pm last Wednesday.
NSW Police said the 57-year-old man was treated for serious facial and chest injuries before being taken to Wollongong Hospital.
He was later transferred to St George Hospital, where he remained in a serious but stable condition on Monday.
Police revealed details of the incident on Monday, when they also released CCTV footage of a car they are hoping to identify as part of an ongoing investigation.
“As inquires continue, police would like to speak to the occupants of a car described as a white 4WD utility, single cab with a metal tray back and canvas canopy,” the force said in a statement.
