Shaun Primmer: Police pursuit ends with Mangerton man in outdoor laundry
A Mangerton man is alleged to have twice evaded pursuing police on Wednesday before abandoning the vehicle and hiding in an outdoor laundry in Koonawarra.

A 27-year-old Mangerton man with a long rap sheet for similar offences led police on two terminated pursuits on Wednesday morning.
Shaun Primmer, who was on parole for similar offences and is disqualified from driving until 2041, was seen by police under the hood of a pink Mitsubishi Magna on Farmborough Rd in Farmborough Heights at 8.30am.
Primmer entered a plea of guilty to six charges, including: possession or use of a prohibited weapon without a permit; police pursuit - not stopping - driving dangerously; driving a motor vehicle during a disqualification period; negligent driving and resisting and two counts of officer in execution of duty.
Documents tendered to the court state police turned towards Primmer, who rushed into the driver’s seat of the Magna. Police pulled up alongside the car and recognised Primmer as being a disqualified driver.
They also saw a woman in the passenger seat who was later identified as 25-year-old Jaymae Scott.
Primmer nearly bogged the car in the grass as he accelerated north along Farmborough Rd, reaching speeds of more than 90 km/h in a 60 km/h zone.
Police initiated a pursuit, witnessing Primmer reach the Waples Rd roundabout where he drove on to the opposite side of the road and into oncoming traffic. Police terminated the pursuit after one minute,according to police facts.
Police facts state the plates on the car did not match its registration.
Officers said they saw the Magna a short time later, running a red light and colliding into a silver Toyota Hiace, before reversing and speeding off.
Another pursuit ensued at 8.43am. Police facts state the car was seen accelerating to 120km/h in an 80 km/h zone, at times on the wrong side of the road, before the pursuit was terminated.
With the assistance of PolAir, the dog unit and the Regional Enforcement Squad, the Magna was soon found abandoned on Kanahooka Rd in Kanahooka - less than 10km from the initial sighting on Farmborough Rd.
During a search of the Magna, police found a taser, 1.82 grams of vegetable matter believed to be cannabis and six mobile phones.
According to police facts Primmer and Scott had stopped a 21-year-old woman driving a Mitsubishi Lancer and told her to drive to a property in nearby Koonawarra.
The Lancer was located nearby on Walbon St, with the 21-year-old providing a statement and fingerprints. She was not injured.
After finding and arresting Scott in a neighbouring address, police set up a perimeter around a home in Balarang Place, where Primmer had locked himself in an outdoor laundry.
Police forced entry into the laundry before placing him under arrest
The duo were taken to Lake Illawarra Police Station for questioning before Scott was released pending further charges.
Primmer did not apply for bail in Wollongong Local Court on Thursday and will face sentencing on March 8.
