South Beach, Wollongong: Police investigating after clothing found

Police are investigating after a woman’s clothing and thongs were found abandoned on a Wollongong beach on Monday evening.

Police have launched an investigation after a woman’s dress and shoes were found on a Wollongong beach last night.

Police began investigating on Tuesday after members of the public reported finding a woman’s shoes, dress, sunglasses and rings at South Beach last night.

Another member of the public reported seeing the same items at the same location this morning, prompting police to look into the matter.

A NSW police spokeswoman confirmed police from Wollongong Police District visited the beach early on Tuedsay and are investigating the matter.
