Police arrest man as part of ongoing firearms investigation
A licensed firearms dealer was arrested at Port Kembla today as part of an ongoing firearms investigation.

A licensed firearms dealer has been arrested at Port Kembla this morning, as part of an ongoing firearms investigation.
Just after 9am today detectives from the State Crime Command’s Drug and Firearms Squad raided a business on Wentworth Street and arrested a 46-year-old man, who was taken to Lake Illawarra Police Station.
Several police, including detectives and specialist officers, remain at the business, which has since been declared a crime scene. Several firearms have also been seized.
Police have not revealed exact nature of the operation, saying it relates to an “ongoing investigation” by the drug and firearms squad.
