NSW Health measles warning: Men present with viral infection
A fresh warning has been sent out after two men presented with measles symptoms after travelling to South East Asia, visiting more than 30 spots around Sydney while infected with the disease.

A measles alert has been issued by NSW Health for Sydneysiders in areas including Lane Cove, Hornsby and Lindfield after two separate men presented with symptoms.
NSW Health confirmed one of the men, who said he had been vaccinated against the viral infection, had just returned from South-East Asia.
He spent time in parts of Hornsby, Lane Cove, Lindfield, Sydney CBD, Newtown, Erskineville and travelled by public transport while infectious between June 30 and July 8.
NSW Health stated none of the locations visited by the man posed an ongoing risk, citing it would take up to 18 days for symptoms to appear following exposure to a person with measles.
“People in the same places at the same time as the man should be alert for signs and symptoms of measles until 26 July,” the Health alert said.
The alert follows after another man, aged in his forties, was diagnosed with the infection in Queensland following a four-day trip to Sydney.
