Sydney Thunder fans will have the chance to meet their sporting heroes this weekend.

Held as part of the Sydney Hills Events’ Summer Series, the Sydney Thunder Fan Day will include a Junior Member Clinic, a Q&A session with Thunder players, the chance for autographs, and a kids’ zone full of activities.

The free fan day will be on Sunday from 10.30am to 12.30pm at Bruse Purser Reserve on the corner of Withers and Commercial roads, Kellyville.

Hills Shire Mayor Yvonne Keane said the event would be a “great day of family fun and community spirit, which really showcases just how amazing our local sports teams are”.

“It also gives the local community a chance to thank sporting teams like the Sydney Thunder for the inspiration and entertainment they provide to people, both young and old.”

The clinic for Sydney Thunder Junior Members will be held from 9.30am-10.30am before the start of the fan day.
