Hills Hornets players were more than happy to share their fields when the national U19 team visited for a training camp last weekend.

The Australian U19 boys team, which includes Hornets players Jackson Mills and Luke Osborne, used the Hornets’ home ground in Kellyville to prepare for the upcoming Youth Trans Tasman competition.

The 14-strong squad will be one of six sides travelling to New Zealand on January 18 for the three-day series.

The U19s were put through their paces at the camp, held from January 7-8, with seven sessions across two days including a trial game against the Barbarians.

The Hornets swooped in to save the day at the last minute after the original location for the camp fell through.
