Kellyville
A house has been saturated in an act of malicious damage that would put the bandits in Home Alone to shame.
Offenders caused $45,000 worth of damage at the display home at Hartigan Ave, in Kellyville, last month when they left a tap at an ensuite running for a week.
The water destroyed the carpet and ceilings when it flowed from upstairs to downstairs.
Police believe the incident occurred some time between 5pm on December 21 and 6.30pm on December 29.

The heatwave has really got to one thief who stole a wall-mounted airconditioning unit at Alanas Ave between December 20 and January 12.
Baulkham Hills
Jewellery, a laptop, camera, DVD player and an iPad tablet were stolen from a Chelsea Ave house on Sunday between 4.30am and 3.30pm when thieves broke in after slashing a side window.

A dress and T-shirt worth $640 were stolen from a women’s fashion boutique at Castle Towers on Saturday between 4.45pm and 5pm.

A $1500 laptop was stolen from a black Honda Civic sedan parked at Excelsior Ave between 11pm on Thursday and 8am on Friday.
North Rocks
Jewellery worth $20,000 was stolen from a North Rocks Rd shopping complex on Friday between 12.45am and 1.15am. Police said the centre’s automated doors were forced open from the centre’s back carpark before thieves smashed a window and stole several gold chains, bangles, a pendant and ring from the jewellery shop. Police wanted to speak with a man wearing white runners, a black Nike cap, green shorts and white sneakers.
Baulkham Hills
A 19-year-old Winston Hills man received a cannabis caution after possessing 5g of cannabis at Gooden Reserve on Thursday between 5.45pm and 6pm. Police were patrolling the park when they smelt the drug and saw a bong. The group he was with moved on from the park.
Castle Hill
A $2000 laptop was stolen from a Victoria Ave store on Thursday between 2.45pm and 3pm. Police said staff were busy with a customer when the man stole the computer. The offender was described as about 20 years old, slim, red jumper, black track pants and a white cap.

A 20-year-old man was charged after allegedly driving a motorbike on a disqualified licence at Castle Hill Rd last Tuesday about 6am. Police said his licence was disqualified for 12 months from September 2018 after an alleged mid-range drink driving offence. The Castle Hill man is due to front Parramatta Local Court on January 30.
Baulkham Hills
Two wallets were stolen from a double-storey house between 10pm on Saturday and 8am on Sunday while occupants slept. Police said thieves broke in through a ground floor door, which was probably unlocked. One wallet was found dumped in the backyard of Baulkham Hills Rd property.
Castle Hill
A 48-year-old Queensland man returned a positive drug test after driving along Showground Rd on Sunday between 4.15am and 4.45am. Police allege the man smoked cannabis two days before he was stopped for the test. Analysis is still being undertaken.
Kellyville
Three women are wanted after stealing $150 worth of alcohol from a shop at Wrights Rd on Friday. Police said they stole a bottle of Bourbon whiskey and vodka from a display case between 6.15pm and 6.30pm. The women were described as 22 years old and of Pacific Islander appearance. Two were a slim build and one was large.
Castle Hill
A woman ran away while staff called police to alert them over the shoplifting incident at Chemist Warehouse on Thursday. Police said she had several items in her trolley and placed two cosmetic bags and two creams in there between 8.30am and 8.45am. As she was about to leave, staff stopped her but she fled the Old Northern Rd shop. She was described as aged in her mid 20s with dark skin, dark hair and was wearing an orange dress.
West Pennant Hills
Back and front number plates were stolen from a blue Toyota Corolla parked at a Glenvale Close home between 5pm on Wednesday and 6pm on Thursday.
