TWO teenagers have been charged today by police over the stabbing of two men in Pennant Hills last December.
The youth, aged 16 and 15 at the time of the incident, were arrested at a home in Strathfield.
“They have been each charged with cause wounding with intent to murder (x2), wounding with intent (x2), and special aggravated enter dwelling with intent to wound,” a police officer said.
“Both teens were refused bail and are due to appear at a Children’s Court tomorrow (Saturday).”
The charges follow the charging of a boy who was 17-years-old at the time of the incident, earlier this month.
Police said emergency services attended Pennicook Lane, Pennant Hills, about 9.15pm on Friday 30 December 2016, after reports up to eight men had allegedly broken into a unit, leaving two men with stab wounds.
A 21-year-old man was treated at the scene for wounds to his torso and arms before being taken to Westmead Hospital.
A 24-year-old man was treated for a wound to his arm before being taken to Westmead Hospital.
Both men have since been released from hospital.
Officers attached to Ryde Local Area Command commenced an investigation into the incident.
Police said inquiries are continuing.
