Enzo’s Cucina is all about family and food, and the Northmead restaurant – the sixth in the stable – offers both in abundance.
Run by Winston Hills couple Charmaine and Carlo, who is the founder’s cousin, stepping into the 110-seat restaurant at Northmead Shopping Centre feels like being welcomed into their home.
The extensive traditional Italian menu, the same across all Enzo’s restaurants, is a family affair.
The gnocchi is made by Enzo’s nephews, the meatballs by his mum and the pastries by his sister – and their love of food shows on the plate.
The light, pillowy gnocchi served in a rich sauce with tender beef cheeks is extremely popular for good reason and the range of share plates is also great, particularly the Polpette al Pomodoro (Nonna’s meatballs served in an Italian sauce).
The family focus extends to the dining room, with a dedicated play area and a children’s menu.
The entire menu is also available for take-away, perfect for a Friday night in, plus Enzo’s offers catering and group set menus too.
