Gibson was due to face Parramatta Local Court for the first time on Tuesday but her lawyer told the court she could not attend because she has been admitted to a mental health facility.

The court heard she was an inpatient and would not be released until June 4.

Her lawyer asked for the matter to be adjourned until mid-June so she could get legal advice after her release.

The matter was adjourned to June 16.

Gibson, who is on bail, will be excused if she is legally represented.
