Matthew Pearce Public School is set to benefit from a major upgrade and expansion to facilities as part of the NSW Government’s multimillion-dollar plan to revitalise schools across The Hills.
Baulkham Hills state Liberal MP David Elliott revealed to the Times that planning for the redevelopment and upgrade of the school would commence shortly, with a proposal to remove demountables, provide new airconditioned classrooms and upgraded core facilities.
Mr Elliott said he was thrilled the upgrade was being delivered for students, teachers and families of the school.
“This will be a great support to current and future students as we are delivering the major infrastructure our local communities need to thrive,” Mr Elliott said.
A spokesman said the upgrade, which is one of several announced for schools in The Hills this month, would increase the capacity of the school.
