When it comes to other election issues, The newly promised Rouse Hill Hospital also became a topic of conversation — with several commitments from candidates about the size and scale of the soon-to-be-built public hospital.
In the Hawkesbury, a total of nine candidates from a range of political backgrounds are vying for votes.
NSW Treasurer Dominic Perrottet has been replaced on the ballot by Liberal candidate and Hills Shire Councillor Robyn Preston, who will face off against Hawkesbury councillor and Labor candidate Peter Reynolds, Sustainable Australia’s Elissa Carrey, Shooters candidate Shane Djuric, Hawkesbury councillor and Greens candidate Danielle Wheeler, Independent candidate Eddie Dogramachi, the Animal Justice Party’s Sarah Coogans, Keep Sydney Open candidate Perran Costi and Independent Marie-Jeanne Bower at the polls this weekend.
