A man has tragically died after crashing his car into a pole on a major road in Sydney’s west.
About 11.20pm Thursday, emergency services responded to reports a car had crashed into a pole along Station Rd, Seven Hills.
The male driver died at the scene. He has not been formally identified.
Police established a crime scene that was examined by specialist police and an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash has commenced.
A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
Police are urging anyone who may have witnessed the crash – or has any available dashcam/mobile phone footage – to contact Blacktown Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
