Coronavirus cases in The Hills have not increased despite a confirmed case linked to a busy shopping centre in Rouse Hill in May.
Hills residents were encouraged to get tested for COVID-19 after a staff member tested positive for coronavirus at the Rouse Hill Town Centre Shopping Centre.
The staff member is believed to have worked at the retailer City Beach and health officials were unable to determine how the person contracted the deadly virus.
But according to the latest NSW Health data there are only four active cases in the region, with 58 people in The Hills recovered from coronavirus.
Hills residents who display symptoms are encouraged to get tested at one of two government-funded COVID-19 testing facilities in Sydney’s northwest – Castle Hills Respiratory Clinic and Riverstone Respiratory Clinic. To find out more details visit the NSW Health website.
