Multiple childcare centres have been proposed across the Hills to meet demand from the region’s growing population.
Plans for six childcare centres have been lodged in Box Hill, Baulkham Hills and Castle Hill since June.
Among them is a mega $3.9 million facility at Milky Crescent to cater for 130 children.
Kindalin Early Learning Centre has lodged plans for a single-storey complex on the 2503 sqm site.
It features four large outdoor play areas, a 42-lot basement car park and a drive-through drop off area.
The proposed childcare would operate from 7am to 7.30pm Monday to Friday.
Two other child cares have been proposed for Box Hill, along with two in Castle Hill and one in Baulkham Hills.
