A woman has died and a man has been hospitalised after a serious crash in Sydney’s northwest.

A woman has died in a two-vehicle crash at Glenorie.
The incident occurred on Cattai Ridge Rd about 5pm on Monday, where the woman, 34, was driving near Halcrows Rd and collided with another car.
The woman died at the scene and the male driver of the other vehicle, 48, was treated by paramedics before being flown to Weatmead Hospital.
He had sustained leg and internal injuries, and remains in a serious but stable condition.
The Hills police attended the scene, established a crime scene and the Metropolitan Investigation Unit is investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
The team will also prepare a brief for the coroner.
