Tucked underneath the offices of Century Circuit, a new Baulkham Hills cafe has made a name for itself for its quality food and family-friendly atmosphere.
Melissa Vanisi opened Hashtag Boardwalk in February following six weeks of renovations.
The waterfront location caught Ms Vanisi’s eye a long time ago and when it finally came up for lease, she sold her existing cafe — Penny Farthing in Bella Vista — and jumped at the opportunity.
The affordable breakfast and lunch menu runs from standard cafe fare like smashed avocado to the popular cheesy bacon fries.
Similarly, the extensive drinks menu ranges from fresh healthy juices to creamy indulgent shakes.
A new burger menu will be launched next week, including the light and fresh veggie burger.
With a focus on families, the cafe offers free kiddie cinos with every coffee purchase, plus bread for the kids to feed the ducks.
Parents can receive 25 per cent off a regular coffee between 10am to 11.30am on weekdays.
Four-legged friends do not miss out either — they can munch on homemade doggie cookies for $2.50 each.
