More fragments of COVID-19 have been found in sewage in Castle Hill as health authorities urge residents to remain vigilant and get tested for the mildest of symptoms.
Western Sydney Local Health District has issued an alert stating more fragments of the COVID-19 virus have been detected in the Castle Hill sewage network.
It comes three days since the first alert was issued at the same catchment.
The most recent sample was taken from a Castle Hill treatment plant which serves for more than 8000 residents in Glenhaven, Dural, Kenthurst, Kellyville and Castle Hill.
Health authorities urge the community to be “vigilant” and to get tested if they have any symptoms.
A new drive-through COVID-19 clinic has also opened at 32 Worcester Road in Rouse Hill on Monday.
