Box Hill drug bust: Cannabis, firearms and $110K cash seized

A stash of cannabis, $110,000 cash and various firearms have been seized by police at a home in Sydney's northwest.
Hills Police raided the home of a 53-year-old man in Box Hill on Monday following an investigation into the alleged supply of illegal drugs.
Officers allegedly found 2.1 kilograms of cannabis, a rifle silencer and $113,950 in cash suspected to be the proceeds of crime.
Nine other firearms were also found which were allegedly not in approved storage.
The Box Hill man was charged with a string of charges including supplying a prohibited drug, possessing a prohibited weapon, and dealing with the proceeds of crime.
He will face Parramatta Local Court later today.
