Bella Vista Hotel’s new dog-friendly garden bar
Bella Garden, the new outdoor bar at the Bella Vista Hotel, is set to become dog-friendly from this weekend.
The Bella Vista Hotel’s new garden bar is about to become dog-friendly.
Those looking to enjoy a cocktail or two over the summer can bring their furry friends with them to Bella Garden starting from this weekend.
Bella Vista Hotel’s head of marketing Candaice O’Brien said the aim of Bella Garden was to create an outdoor daytime venue in The Hills.
“There’s not a lot around here that people with four legged friends to come along and we want them to have fun,” she said.
Bella Garden, which opened on Melbourne Cup day, specialises in flower-inspired cocktails such as the Rose, with gin, raspberry syrup and lemon juice, and the Marigold with Aperol, pink grapefruit, lemon, lychee and rose syrups.
There will also be limited-edition cocktails over summer featuring the new pink gin from spirit company Beefeater.
The pink-hued drinks, which will be available until February, include gin and tonics, negronis and daiquiris.
The light-filled garden bar, which was named in honour of The Hills’ title as the Garden Shire, has a fresh, light look — in contrast to the sleek black and gold interiors of the hotel.
O’Brien said the venue was “really colourful and vibrant and fresh and new”.
“It was more coming back to the Hills needing somewhere to enjoy cocktails and sunshine during the day,” she said.
The Bella Garden will be open every day except Christmas Day over the holidays, while the Bella Vista Hotel will close except for New Year’s Eve.
