A man who allegedly joined dozens of tradies in a brawl at Castle Hill has fronted court a month after the wild incident on a construction site.

Alekisanita Papa, 28, was charged with affray after a wild melee at a Meriton building site at Sexton Ave, Castle Hill, just before 7am on June 24 when two groups wearing orange and yellow hi-vis clothing traded blows.

Footage of the incident showed a large group of tradies attacking each other with punches, kicks and smacking each other over the head with hard hats.

The group allegedly dispersed when Hills Police arrived.

NSW Ambulance paramedics treated two men aged 43 and 55 at the scene before they were taken to Westmead Hospital with minor injuries.

Police confirmed one man received a laceration to his eye that required stitches and the other suffered a broken nose.

Papa, of Seven Hills, faced Parramatta Local Court on Wednesday, when the case was adjourned to August 6 so he could seek Legal Aid assistance.

He was the third man to be charged over the incident after father and son Samisoni Manuatu, 42, and Tevita Kaulave Manuatu, 22, were charged a day after the brawl.

The pair was arrested at Castle Hill Police Station a day after the alleged fight.

Samisoni was charged with intimidation and affray.

Tevita was charged with intimidation, affray and assault.

Both were granted conditional bail to appear before Parramatta Local Court last week when their cases were adjourned to September 3 and their bail continued.

None of the alleged brawlers have yet entered pleas.

A Meriton spokesman last month said that no direct Meriton employees were involved.

“The contractors involved in the fight have been immediately terminated,” he said.
