Truck driver Alen Susak — who allegedly sent sexually explicit messages to teenage girls via Snapchat and offered them money in exchange for oral sex at Gooden Reserve in Baulkham Hills — remains in custody after his bid for bail was rejected.
Police allege the 32-year-old Carnes Hill father sent a video of a man masturbating via the social media platform to a 15-year-old girl early this year under the profile mickmax111.
Since then, police facts allege Susak sent several messages of a man masturbating and texts offering sums of money in exchange for oral sex.
In July, he requested the teenager to meet him at the McDonald’s restaurant at Showground Rd, Castle Hill, to which she and two other teenage school friends, both aged 14, agreed.
His offer of $100 for one of the 14 year old girls to perform oral sex on him was rejected, police allege.
“During this meeting, the victim and two witnesses disclosed their ages to the accused.’’
Another message sent to the 15-year-old on August 20 allegedly offered her $100 for them to meet at Gooden Reserve where she and two friends, dressed in their school uniform, met him at noon.
Police patrolling the reserve’s carpark saw the Toyota Aurion and allegedly separated the 15-year-old girl from the accused. Fact sheet tendered to the court allege she told police the accused “rubbed the outside of her leg and attempted to place his hand into her underpants whilst in the vehicle”.
Police searched the car where they allegedly found the accused wearing his shorts back to front, two $50 notes, tissues and men’s underpants under the front passenger seat.
He was arrested and taken to Castle Hill police station where officers seized clothing at the time he was brought into custody.
“Police note the accuse was in fact not wearing underpants at the time his clothing was seized,’’ police facts allege.
Susak has been charged with three counts of aggravated sexual assault for victim under the age of 16, two counts of intentionally sexually touching a child between 10 and 16, procuring a child for unlawful sexual activity, and intentionally do a sexual act with a child between 10 and 16.
At Parramatta Local Court on Thursday, Susak appeared via video.
His application for bail was rejected and the matter was adjourned to October 22.
Susak, who lived with his parents before the arrest, has not yet entered a plea.
