Yennora fire: Cabinet factory erupts in flames

A cabinet-making factory in Sydney’s west erupted into a ball of flames overnight. Authorities are now investigating the cause of the fire.

A fire engulfed a cabinet factory in Sydney’s west overnight, sending plumes of smoke into the air.

Fire crews were called to the factory in Junction Street, Yennora, around 4:30am.

They arrived to find flames erupting through the roof.

Thirteen crews worked to douse the flames and contain the fire for hours.

A NSW Fire and Rescue spokesman said the fire was under control at 7am but crews were still working to extinguish the blaze.

Police are investigating the cause of the fire and fire authorities will survey the damage once the site is cleared as safe.
