A woman who allegedly imported a large haul of drugs from Wetherill Park last month has faced court for the first time since she was granted bail.
Jennifer Tran fronted Fairfield Court on Thursday after she was charged with two counts of importing a commercial quantity of a border-controlled precursor on March 19.
Police allege the 36-year-old Bonnyrigg woman imported a pseudoephedrine precursor between 4.35pm and 6pm.
Pseudoephedrine can be used as a decongestant but can be used for the production of illicit amphetamines.
Tran was granted bail at Fairfield Court on March 20 when a $10,000 surety was posted.
She returned to court again when her surety was mentioned and her bail continued.
Her case is due to return to the Downing Centre Local Court on April 30.
Under her bail conditions, Tran must report to Fairfield Police Station every day and is forbidden from contacting any prosecution witnesses, applying for another passport or entering any international airport or other point of departure from Australia, or going within 500m of one of those locations.
She is forbidden from taking any drugs, must only have one mobile phone without any encrypted apps and is banned from deleting any data.
The person who posted surety must forfeit $5000 cash if Tran fails to appear at court.
Tran has not yet entered pleas.
