Villawood Hotel car robbery sparks police search

Police are looking to speak to two men about a robbery that happened in the car park of Villawood Hotel.

A robbery at Villawood Hotel has led to a police appeal for two men

Police are searching for two men after a woman, sitting in her car at the back of a licenced premises at Villawood, was robbed.

The woman, 21, was robbed at the Villawood Hotel about 9pm on July 16 when an unknown man opened the passenger door to her parked car, demanding her handbag and car keys.

As the woman proceeded to leave the vehicle, she fell to the ground, causing minor cuts to her hand and bruising o her leg.

In that moment the man ran off, and the woman proceeded to alert staff at the Villawood Hotel.

Police have released CCTV footage of two men they are interested in speaking with in relation to the incident.

The first man is described as being of Middle Easter appearance. He was unshaven, wearing a dark grey hooded jumper, grey track pants, white shoes and a cap.

The second man is described as wearing a black long-sleeved top, black pants, a black cap and white shoes.

Police are encouraging anyone with information to come forward.
