Fairfield NRL star Moses Suli to make international debut with Tonga in Pacific Test

AT just 18, Moses Suli, makes his international debut with the Tongan rugby league team this weekend off the back of several extraordinary performances with Wests Tigers.

FAIRFIELD NRL star Moses Suli will make his international debut for Tonga in the Pacific Test against Fiji this weekend.

Suli is just 18, but he has already made an extraordinary impact this season since he signed with the Wests Tigers in February.

The rookie was yet to play a first-grade NRL game when the Tigers reportedly paid a record $1.3 million for his services until 2020.

The club’s faith in the powerful outside back has been rewarded with several strong performances and tries, most recently at Leichhardt Oval against the Sharks last weekend.

Moses Suli played for Mounties when he was 10 years old.

Suli, who cut his teeth as a junior with Mounties and Fairfield United, will play on the wing in a strong Tongan side featuring Bulldog Will Hopoate, Rooster Daniel Tupou and Shark Tony Williams.

Six nations will go head-head in the Pacific Test at Campbelltown Stadium on Saturday.
